Installing the app
Daily Tab installs on your phone straight from the website — there's no app store involved. Once it's on your home screen, you open it with a tap, like anything else on your phone.
Why install it
Installing puts a Daily Tab icon on your home screen, so you open it with one tap instead of typing the address each time. And if you teach at more than one college, the same app covers all of them — there's nothing to install separately for each.
Installing on Android
Open dailytab.app in your browser, then open the browser's menu — usually shown as three dots (⋮) or three lines (☰) — and look for the option to install it. The exact wording varies by browser:
- Chrome — open the menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen (you may need to scroll the menu to find it).
- Samsung Internet — open the menu and choose Add page to → Home screen, or look for an install icon in the address bar.
- Other browsers (Edge, Brave, Firefox) — open the menu and look for Install or Add to Home screen.
Confirm when prompted, and Daily Tab appears on your home screen.
Installing on iPhone or iPad
On iPhone and iPad, install it through Safari:
- Open dailytab.app in Safari.
- Find the Share button— the square with an arrow pointing up. It's usually in the toolbar at the bottom or top of the screen; on newer iPhones you may need to open Safari's menu (three dots ⋯ near the address bar) to reach it.
- In the Share panel, tap Add to Home Screen — you may need to scroll down the list to find it.
- Tap Add to confirm.
Daily Tab then appears on your home screen, ready to open.
Opening it after installing
From then on, just tap the Daily Tab icon on your home screen. It opens full screen, and you sign in the same way as before. You only need to install it once on each device.
