Joining Daily Tab

When your college adds you as a teacher for the first time, you get an invite by email. Accepting it takes a minute: you open the link, set a password, agree to the terms, and you're in.

Open the invite email

Look for an email from Daily Tab with an Accept invitation button, and tap it. The invite is valid for 24 hours, so it's best to accept it soon — if it lapses, you can request a new one (see below).

Set your password and agree to the terms

The link opens a short page that welcomes you and shows the college you've been invited to. There you'll:

Set your password — at least 8 characters — and confirm it.
Tick the agreement to Daily Tab's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Institutional Data Agreement (you can open each to read it).
Tap Set password and continue.

You need to tick the agreement before the button will let you continue. Once you do, Daily Tab signs you in and takes you straight to your teacher dashboard.

One more step before you can mark. Being signed in doesn't yet mean you can take attendance — your administrator also needs to assign you to a class and subject. If you don't see a class to mark, ask them to set up your assignment.

If your invite has expired

If the link has already been used or has expired, you'll see an Invite link expired message. Enter your email and choose Request new invite — your college's administrator is notified and can resend it. You'll get a fresh email to accept.
